eStatements Terms and Conditions

This agreement provides consent to receive bank statements for your selected Bank of American Fork accounts by electronic delivery. These electronic bank statements are called eStatements.

To receive your statements electronically, you will need access to a computer that satisfies the minimum web browser requirements for online banking. Additionally, you will need access to a printer or the ability to download the information, in order to keep copies for your records.

You are responsible for providing us with updated contact information, such as changes in your email address. Each statement period we will send you an electronic notice that your statement is available through your Bank of American Fork Online account.

You understand that you have a duty to exercise reasonable promptness in examining the electronic statement or the items referenced to determine whether any payment was not authorized because of an alteration of an item or because a purported signature by or on behalf of you or other signatory on the account was not authorized. The statute of limitations governing these responsibilities will commence at the time the Bank sends you the email notification that your statement is available.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to receive bank statement(s) electronically at any time by canceling your enrollment in the service through your Bank of American Fork Online account. You can do this by un-checking the box next to each account listed under your "Documents and Settings" page. The eStatement service will be discontinued within 10 working days and paper delivery of your statement(s) will resume. There is no fee to withdraw your consent to receive bank statements electronically.  

Please print this disclosure if you want to keep a paper copy for your records. This discloure is also available by accessing your online banking account, clicking the eStatements option, then clicking Disclosures. Copies of other bank discloures may be found by clicking the Discloures link on our home page at www.bankaf.com.  

For more information about eStatements, or any other product from the Bank of American Fork, please contact us. Please be as specific as possible regarding your request.  Rather than emailing us, please use the secure messaging service through your Online Banking access.  If you do send an email, do not include personal information such as account numbers or Social Security Numbers, as email is not secure.

Statements and notices will only be mailed to the address we have on file for you. There is no fee to request a paper copy of a regulatory notice or copy of the terms and conditions and fees on your account. If you wish to have a paper copy of a statement or check mailed to you, normal research fees will apply.  

Please note: Regulatory or other bank disclosures, notices, Marketing information, confirmations, or changes to the account may occur from time to time. Please regularly review disclosures.

We will use commercially reasonable measures, consistent with industry standards, to maintain security of the information contained in the electronically delivered account statement(s) and notices. One of the main security features guarding the use of Bank of American Fork online banking is the unique combination of your User ID and Password. It is important that you protect the security of your User ID and Password by keeping them secret. By entering into this Agreement and using Bank of American Fork online banking, you agree to protect the security of your User ID, Password, and any other numbers, codes, marks, signs, keys, or other means of identification of you as a Bank of American Fork online banking user which may be devised or established from time to time.

By enrolling online for eStatements and clicking and accepting the eStatements Terms and Conditons, you are authorizing Bank of American Fork to provide notices and to deliver statements for the Bank of American Fork account(s) identified by electronic means. You understand and agree that by requesting electronic delivery, you will NOT receive statements in paper form delivered by regular United States Postal Service mail unless you specifically discontinue the eStatement service as described in this disclosure. You agree that electronic delivery will satisfy Bank of American Fork’s requirement to provide you a periodic statement of your account(s). Your consent shall remain valid until such time as you exercise your right to revoke this consent. Bank of American Fork retains the right to discontinue this service at any time. Your eStatement service can be discontinued if the email notice is returned undeliverable for any reason. Should your eStatement service be discontinued, Bank of American Fork will resume the paper delivery of your statement via the United States Postal Service and your account will be subject to the terms and conditions applicable to that account type with a paper statement that does not include check and deposit images at the time you cancel your eStatement service. 

Same terms and conditions apply for  Business Account(s). By enorlling online and accepting the eStatements Terms and Conditions, you are also stating that you are authorized to enroll the business account(s) as eStatement accounts.
