How do I open a checking account?

You can open all CheckSmart checking and our MyRate Checking® accounts at a location near you or online. When applying at a location, make sure you have with you:

  • Picture ID - (Utah state ID, valid driver's license or current passport)
  • Social security card
  • Initial deposit
